Privacy policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
1. About this policy
1.1 This Privacy Policy explains how Everasa (as defined in our Terms & Conditions, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information in connection with everasa.com and the related services (the “Service”). Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Terms.
1.2 The Service is intended for business customers. This policy applies to personal data of the individuals who use the Service on their behalf and who contact us.
1.3 By using the Service or providing information to us, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. This policy does not form part of the Terms.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Account and business information: your name, email address, password (stored in hashed form), company name, website, billing address, city and country, and any other information you provide in your account.
2.2 Content and Output: the video and audio files you upload, their file names, sizes and durations, information derived from them in the course of processing (such as the language spoken), and the Output we produce.
2.3 Order and transaction information: orders, minutes purchased and used, amounts charged and refunded, invoices, and payment and refund identifiers provided by our payment service providers. We do not receive or store your full card number, card security code or banking credentials.
2.4 Communications: messages you send us by email or through forms on the Service, including the information you provide in them.
2.5 Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, log data, and cookies and similar technologies necessary to operate the Service.
2.6 Demo screenings: if we give you a pass to watch our demonstration videos, we record each viewing: the pass used, the time, your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, your browser and device, and how each video was played (which parts and for how long, whether it was muted, and any playback errors). We use this to keep each pass personal to the person we gave it to, to understand interest in the Service and to follow up with you. We do not record your mouse or cursor movements, your keystrokes or the contents of your screen, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising technology on that page.
2.7 Use of our website: when you visit our website, including our sign-in and sign-up pages and, if you have an account, the pages of your account area, we record each page you view: the page, the time, the page or link that brought you there, your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, your browser and device, how long the page was open and in view, how far down it you scrolled and which parts of it you reached, which links and buttons you clicked, and how any video on it was played (when, which parts and for how long). We keep a random identifier in your browser's local storage so that page views from the same browser can be read together. Where you are signed in, we also record which account the page view belongs to, so that we can see how customers use the Service; we take this from your session and never from anything your browser tells us about itself. We use this to understand how our website is used and to improve it, to understand interest in the Service and to follow up with people we have been in touch with. We do not record your mouse or cursor movements, your keystrokes or what you type into forms, and we do not use third-party analytics or advertising technology on our website.
2.8 Downloads: when you download Output, we record which files were downloaded, when, and the IP address, approximate location and browser used.
3. How we use information
3.1 We use information to: (a) create and administer your account; (b) process Content and produce and deliver Output; (c) take payment, issue invoices and process refunds; (d) communicate with you about your account, orders and the Service; (e) provide support; (f) detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents and breaches of the Terms; (g) enforce our rights and comply with legal obligations; (h) maintain and improve the Service, including by understanding how our website is used (section 2.7); and (i) send you information about our services, which you may opt out of at any time.
3.2 We do not use the video or audio files you upload to train artificial intelligence models, and we do not sell personal data.
4. AI model providers
4.1 To produce Output we may send Content to third-party providers of artificial intelligence models, including proprietary models. We use only models and service terms under which the provider does not retain Content after processing it and does not use it to train or improve its models.
5. How we share information
5.1 We share information only as follows: (a) with service providers who process it on our behalf, including providers of hosting, storage, databases, payments, email, forms and artificial intelligence models, to the extent necessary for them to provide their services to us; (b) with our professional advisers; (c) where required by law, legal process or a governmental authority, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property or safety or those of others; (d) in connection with a transfer of all or part of our business, including to any company or other entity formed to carry on the business of Everasa; and (e) with your consent.
6. Where information is processed
6.1 Our service providers may store and process information in India and in other countries. By using the Service you consent to the transfer of information outside India where permitted by law.
7. How long we keep information
7.1 Uploaded video and audio files are deleted from our systems after the Output for them has been delivered, in the ordinary course of our operations. Files uploaded to orders that are never paid for are deleted after 7 days.
7.2 Output scripts are kept for such period as we determine.
7.3 Demo screening and website usage records (sections 2.6 and 2.7) are kept for such period as we determine. You may ask us to delete them at any time.
7.4 Account, order and transaction information, including records of downloads (section 2.8), is kept while your account is open and afterwards for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in section 3, including to resolve disputes, enforce our agreements and comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
8. Security
8.1 We take measures we consider reasonable to protect information against unauthorised access, use, alteration and loss. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential.
9. Cookies
9.1 We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in and to operate and secure the Service, and a random identifier in your browser's local storage that links your visits to our website (section 2.7). You can control cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings; clearing it removes that identifier, and parts of the Service may not work without cookies.
10. Your rights
10.1 Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to: (a) provide a summary of the personal data we hold about you; (b) correct, complete or update it; (c) erase it; or (d) withdraw your consent to its processing. You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
10.2 Requests should be sent by email, using the address on our Contact us page, from the email address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law.
10.3 We may retain information where we are required or permitted by law to do so, including as described in section 7.3. Withdrawing consent or requesting erasure does not affect processing carried out before the request, and may mean that we can no longer provide the Service to you.
11. Children
11.1 The Service is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn that we have done so, we will delete it.
12. Third-party services
12.1 The Service may link to or rely on third-party websites and services, including payment pages, which are governed by their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
13. Changes to this policy
13.1 We may change this policy at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service after a change is posted constitutes your acceptance of it.
14. Grievances and contact
14.1 Questions, requests and grievances about this policy or our handling of personal data may be sent to our grievance officer using the details on our Contact us page. If your grievance is not resolved, you may have the right to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
